Experience
Jim is a founding partner and the Executive Vice President of The Case Bowen Company. He has been involved in real estate for most of his 40+ year professional career. Jim has a wide array of expertise in commercial real estate management, leasing, finance, rehab and development. He represents the third generation of Cases to be involved in the commercial real estate business in Columbus. His grandfather founded W. Lyman Case & Company in 1919, which was eventually taken over by his two sons Ward (Butch) Case, Jim’s father, and Bill Case.
 
Since Founding The Case Bowen Company
Jim was the President of the Central Ohio Chapter of the Community Associations Institute in 2002 and has also held the position of Treasurer for many years. He’s currently a committee member for The Ohio Chapter of the Community Associations Institute Legislative Action Committee. The CAI-LAC oversees Ohio Legislation that might affect association living in Ohio. Jim, along with Bob Bowen, are responsible for all day-to-day operations of The Case Bowen Company. His main involvement is overseeing the property management division.

Personal Life
Jim enjoys riding his road bikes, golfing, and the outdoors when he is away from the office. He also enjoys spending time with his two sons – who are working in their own professions now.

Affiliations
Jim is a member of ICSC – International Council Shopping Centers, CCIIR – Columbus Commercial Industrial Investment Realtors, and the Columbus Realtors. Along with his real estate affiliations, Jim is a member of the Central Ohio Community Associations Institute, and the CAI-LAC. CAI provides information & education to community associations and the professionals who support them. Their mission is to inspire professionalism, effective leadership and responsible citizenship.
