WE HAVE A WINNER!
The Case Bowen Company is proud to announce that employee, Karen Murphy, was selected the 2011 winner of the TOPS Software Company's TOPS PCAM Scholarship program. Among the hundreds of amazing essays TOPS Software Company received, Karen's essay impressed the TOPS executives above the rest. "Karen's dedication to the community management industry and her hard work epitomize the best attributes of a community manager and made her a great choice for this inaugural award." said Mike hardy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, of TOPS Software Company.
"I have chosen to be a property manager as a career path, as opposed to just a job. I want to be the best property manager I can be; and to do so, I need to continue to educate myself and keep up to date on all aspects of property management. Obtaining my PCAM designation was an important part of this process to be the best I can be.
As with anything else, I did not pass on my first attempts to obtain this high designation. Rather than burying my head in the sand, I persevered and took the course again and obtained my PCAM. I refused to accept 'not passing' as an option for me."
The award was announced May 5, 2011 at the annual CAI National Conference in Boca Raton, Florida. Jeff Hardy, Owner and Mike Hardy, Vice-President of TOPS Software Company, presented the award in the form of an oversized "One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00) check". Karen Murphy, who says she's not normally at a loss for words was "speechless" when she had found out that she won. TOPS Software Company will be continuing the TOPS PCAM Scholarship into next year. The scholarship will be open to all candidates that will receive their PCAM designation at the 2012 CAI National Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
